Baltik Agro Service OÜ (hereinafter referred to as BAS) warrants the equipment it sells/repairs against possible defects in construction, workmanship and material.
After the expiry of the warranty period, no reference to a defect during the warranty period is valid unless made in writing.
The warranty period for new equipment is two (2) years from the date of delivery to the purchaser.
The warranty period for refurbished/renovated equipment is one (1) year from the date of delivery of the equipment to the Purchaser.
The warranty is valid for the first buyer/user of the sold/refurbished equipment.
The customer ordering a warranty repair must provide proof of the validity of the warranty period.
THE GUARANTEE COVERS:
The warranty covers the cost of repairing defects in the design, workmanship and materials of the equipment identified by BAS during the warranty period. BAS will correct the above defects by returning the equipment to working order. Parts and components replaced under warranty are the property of the seller and are returnable.
CARRYING OUT WARRANTY WORK:
The fixed equipment is repaired at the customer's premises on working days at. 8.00 - 16.30, but exceptionally outside normal working hours at the customer's request. In the event that the customer requests the warranty repair to be carried out outside normal working hours, the customer shall reimburse any additional costs incurred. In the case of an appliance inspection, the technician must be prepared to have free access to the appliance when he arrives on site..
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND WARRANTY:
This warranty is valid provided that the appliance has been used under normal conditions of use.
and that the instructions for use have been followed carefully. If the above conditions are met, BAS is responsible. The warranty does not cover losses that may be caused by a defect in the equipment, including damage to property, personal injury, damage to other property, loss of profit and other consequential losses. Warranty repair does not include routine maintenance of the equipment and does not cover the cost of failure to follow the instructions for use and maintenance of the equipment.
THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DEFECTS THAT HAVE OCCURRED:
Improper transportation, lifting or moving of equipment and failure to comply with
equipment installation instructions (except when performed by BAS).
User negligence or overloading of the equipment, failure to follow the instructions for use or the conditions of use.
Use of the equipment for any purpose other than that for which it is intended.
Conditions beyond the control of BAS, such as power surges, fire, improper connections, damage caused by repairs or maintenance carried out by unauthorised service companies, or structural modifications to the equipment.
improper installation or placement of the equipment on the site of use, not in accordance with the installation and operating instructions or otherwise incorrect.
improper handling conditions (e.g. sub-zero temperatures) of the equipment by the user..
MINOR FAULTS, ADJUSTMENTS, OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS AND ACCESSORIES:
The warranty does not cover the repair of surface scratches which are insignificant from the point of view of the functioning of the appliance, adjustments mentioned in the normal instructions for use of the appliance, on-site instruction, or work resulting from failure to observe the precautionary or installation rules or to explain them at the place of installation. The warranty does not cover parts which are liable to break as a normal consequence of use or normal wear and tear, such as warning lights, movable plastic parts, seals.
THE ACTION TO BE TAKEN IN THE EVENT OF AN ERROR.
In the event of a defect occurring during the warranty period, the customer must immediately notify Baltik Agro Service OÜ.
When reporting a fault, you must state the type of equipment (make, model), describe as precisely as possible the nature of the fault and the conditions in which the fault occurs and/or under which it occurs. For its part, BAS will clarify whether the appliance and the fault described are covered by the warranty and will provide the customer with information on the repair method and time.
