Barley, spelt or oats must be hulled, dehulled or polished before industrial processing. The PETKUS De-Awner is a special machine that gently removes hazards, hulls and polishes seeds. It has a sturdy and wear-resistant construction. The rotating pin-driven shaft operates at variable speeds, the intensity of the process is controlled by varying the speed and adjusting the seed flow rate.
