PETKUS De-Awner SE — gentle hulling, de-awning, and polishing

The De-Awner SE prepares barley, oats, spelt, and wheat for industrial processing by gently removing awns, husks, clippings, and beards, dispersing clumps, and polishing the seed surface. Multiple models cover capacities from 3 to 20 t/h, allowing you to match throughput to plant needs.

Processing intensity is easy to tailor: the agitator shaft can be fitted with round or square product-protecting pin beaters, while speed and throughput adjustments fine-tune the action. Grain is rubbed against an outer mantle to release awns and husks, with interchangeable wear plates for quick maintenance. The machine features a robust bolted housing in painted sheet steel and a low-maintenance electric drive for long, reliable service.
