Baltik Agro Service OÜ

Warranty conditions

Baltik Agro Service OÜ (hereinafter referred to as BAS) provides a warranty for the equipment it sells/repairs against possible construction, manufacturing, and material defects.

After the warranty period has expired, a claim of notification of a defect during the warranty period is not valid unless it has been made in writing.

The warranty period for new equipment is two (2) years from the handover of the equipment to the buyer.

The warranty period for renovated/repaired equipment is one (1) year from the handover of the equipment to the buyer.

The warranty is valid for the first buyer/user of the sold/repaired equipment.
The client ordering warranty repair must prove the validity of the equipment’s warranty period.

THE WARRANTY COVERS:

The warranty covers the costs incurred in repairing construction, manufacturing, and material defects of the equipment identified by BAS during the warranty period. BAS will repair the aforementioned defects, restoring the equipment to working order. Parts and components replaced under warranty are the property of the seller and must be returned.

PERFORMANCE OF WARRANTY WORK:

Permanently installed equipment will be repaired at the client’s location on working days between 8:00 and 16:30, but by special arrangement, outside of normal working hours at the client’s request. If the client requests that the warranty repair be carried out outside of normal working hours, they will compensate for the resulting additional costs. When a technician arrives on-site for an equipment inspection, free access to the equipment must be prepared for the technician.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND WARRANTY:

This warranty is valid on the condition that the equipment has been used in what are considered normal conditions and that the operating instructions have been carefully followed. If the aforementioned conditions are met, BAS is responsible. The warranty does not compensate for losses that a defect in the equipment may cause, including property damage, personal injury, and damage to other objects, loss of income, and other indirect damages. Warranty repair does not include the regular maintenance of the equipment and does not cover expenses arising from the failure to comply with the equipment’s use and maintenance regulations.

THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DEFECTS THAT HAVE ARISEN FROM:

Improper transportation, non-compliant lifting or moving of the equipment, and disregard for the equipment installation regulations (except when carried out by BAS). Negligence by the equipment user or overloading of the equipment, or failure to observe the operating instructions or handling conditions. Use of the equipment for purposes other than those for which it is intended. Conditions independent of BAS, such as voltage fluctuations, fire, incorrect connections, damage caused by repair work or maintenance performed by unauthorized service companies, or structural modifications to the equipment. Installation or placement at the usage site that does not comply with the installation and operating instructions or is otherwise improper. Non-compliant handling conditions by the user (for example, sub-zero temperatures).

MINOR DEFECTS, ADJUSTMENTS, USER INSTRUCTIONS, AND EQUIPMENT ACCESSORIES:

The warranty does not cover the repair of surface scratches that are insignificant to the functioning of the equipment, adjustments mentioned in the standard operating instructions, on-site user training, or work resulting from the disregard of precautionary or installation rules or their explanation at the installation site. The warranty does not cover parts that are subject to breakage through normal use or natural wear and tear, e.g., warning lights, movable plastic parts, and seals.

MEASURES TO BE TAKEN IN THE EVENT OF A DEFECT:

Upon the occurrence of a defect during the warranty period, the client must immediately notify Baltik Agro Service OÜ. When reporting the defect, the client must state what equipment is involved (make, model), describe the nature of the defect as precisely as possible, and the conditions in which the defect exists and/or occurs. BAS will, for its part, determine whether the equipment and the described defect are covered by the warranty and will provide the client with information regarding the method and time of repair.
